Founded by Yong Shul Choi, traditional hapkido is considered one of the best martial arts in Korea. This five-part hapkido DVD series features one of Choi’s most senior disciples, Jong Bae Rim, as he guides head instructor Joe Sheya in teaching the powerful and effective techniques of traditional hapkido. Choi created hapkido after studying jujutsu under Sokaku Tokada for 30 years in Japan. When he returned to Korea in 1945, Choi began teaching his new art, which he called hapkido.
